Voran Law is a Mexican law firm advising domestic and international clients across key business law practices, with particular expertise in the gaming industry. It was founded in 2026 by Fernando Vidales and Carlos Jiménez, who each bring more than ten years of experience in the gaming industry and a practice built around its regulatory, commercial and compliance challenges.
Voran is a German word meaning forward, ahead, onward. It reflects the direction we aim to give our clients' matters: forward, with precision and without unnecessary ornament.
Legal advice must consider not only the applicable law, but also the business objectives and practical circumstances of each matter.
We work closely with clients to understand their operations and present clear legal options, identifying risks and helping them make informed decisions.
Our goal is technically sound advice that can be effectively implemented in the day-to-day operation of a business.
Transparency and honesty distinguish how we work with clients. We tell them plainly what the law requires, where the risks lie and which options are realistic.
Our practice covers gaming regulation and licensing, corporate and business law, tax, AML and compliance, labor and employment, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution, and antitrust. Gaming regulation is a defining area of our practice.
